Robert "Bob" Fraumann
Fraumann is Minister of Music at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Marietta,
GA, where he has directed the choirs for 29 years. He has also served the Sandy
Springs United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Ga., the First United Methodist
Church in East Point, GA., and the Centenary United Methodist Church in Ashland,
KY. For over 50 years he has been director, organist, pianist, and/or youth
director in the above churches.
He is a graduate of Asbury University, Wilmore, KY, with an A.B. degree in Music
Education, with a minor in organ and conducting. Also, a graduate of Westminster
Choir College, Princeton, NJ, with an M.M. degree, with a major in conducting
and a minor in organ.
While at Asbury University, Bob traveled extensively in evangelistic work. And, at
Westminster Choir College he had the opportunity to sing in several concerts
including Beethoven's Ninth in Carnegie Hall with the New York Philharmonic
Orchestra with
conductor Leonard Bernstein.
Bob's wife, Janice, is a graduate of Asbury University, an elementary school
teacher and homemaker. They have two sons, Rick and Greg, who are also Christian
musicians. Rick is married to Laura, with two children, Bobby and Brittany.
Greg is married to Terri, with two children, Victoria and Sofia.
